The Financial Times’ ranking of the world’s pre-experience Master’s in Finance programs is out—and there may be more eyes on it than ever before. According to recent GMAC data, a staggering 38% of business school applicants say that they prefer the structure of a Master’s program to that of an MBA, and there’s no doubt that Master’s degrees do have their advantages.

As per usual there are two rankings: one for pre-experience Master in Finance degrees and the other for those degrees that require work experience. HEC Paris is home to the best MiF program, according to the 2020 Masters in Finance Rankings by the Financial Times (FT). The rankings return after a one year hiatus in 2019. The French school stands out for its impressive graduate salaries—a whopping average of $149,750 within three years of graduation—as well as a 94% salary increase. Most full-time programmes are aimed at pre-experience students.
